Dr.-Ing. Marion Börnhorst beginnt mit dem 1. März ihre Tätigkeit als Gruppenleiterin am Lehrstuhl REC.

The REC team would like to welcome its new group leader Marion Börnhorst!

She is returning to Dortmund, where she has already completed her studies in chemical engineering. She then worked as a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where she researched the formation of deposits of urea-water sprays, culminating in the dissertation "Urea-water Sprays in NOx Emission Control Systems: Interaction with Solid Walls and Deposit Formation". After completing her doctorate, she headed the "Multiphase Processes and Reactors" working group at KIT for several years.

During her time in Dortmund, she will conduct research in the field of multiphase reactors and, in addition to organizational tasks, prepare her habilitation.

We are looking forward to getting to know her as a new colleague and group leader and wish her all the best for her start at the new chair!
