We congratulate Marion Börnhorst, who was awarded the Rudolf Chaudoire Prize for her outstanding research achievements.

The TU Dortmund University prize honors excellent young researchers every year and supports a research stay at a foreign university or research institution.

Marion Börnhorst would like to use the prize to carry out a one-month research stay in the research group of Prof. Dionisios G. Vlachos (Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Delaware). There she will focus on periodic open-cell catalyst structures in microwave-heated reactors and the associated potentials and challenges.
