Andreas Brix

Short curriculum vitae

Andreas Brix studied Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg from October 2011. During his studies, he completed a seven-month industrial internship at Air Liquide Forschung und Entwicklung GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. In July 2018, he completed his studies with a master's thesis on "Implementation and validation of a particle-tracking-algorithm for spatially resolved simulations of the external mass transport in the simulation toolbox OpenFOAM". After completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Chemical Reaction Engineering in the "Catalytic Reactors and Process Technology" working group under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hannsjörg Freund. Following his appointment to TU Dortmund University, Andreas Brix also moved to Dortmund as part of the working group.
